WedSnap

Live wedding-day display

Put your guests' wedding photos on the big screen

Turn a venue TV or projector into a live Wedding Photo Wall, showing eligible guest photos and videos as the celebration unfolds while guests keep using the same WedSnap QR upload journey.

From guest phones to the venue screen

Let everybody enjoy the moments being captured around them

Wedding guests already photograph reactions, friendships, outfits, details and dance-floor moments that the couple may never see during the day itself.

The Wedding Photo Wall gives those photos and videos a second life during the celebration by displaying eligible guest photos and videos on a large screen.

It complements the private wedding gallery rather than replacing it. Guests still upload through the normal WedSnap experience and the couple retains control of the wedding collection.

TV

Put it on your venue screen

Open the Wedding Wall from your Couple Hub on the wedding day. If your venue TV has a suitable web browser, you can open the Wedding Wall directly on the screen. Otherwise, open it on a laptop or tablet and connect that device to the venue TV, projector or presentation screen using HDMI, AirPlay or screen sharing. Once the Wall is running, newly eligible guest photos and videos can appear automatically as they are uploaded.

Simple venue setup

What do I need to use the Wedding Wall?

You do not need any specialist WedSnap equipment. In most venues, the setup is simply a screen, an internet connection and a way to open the Wedding Wall.

1

A TV, projector or large screen

Use a venue television, projector, presentation screen or another suitable large display that your guests can see.

2

A way to open the Wedding Wall

If the venue TV has a suitable web browser, open the Wedding Wall directly on it. Otherwise, use a laptop or tablet.

3

A connection to the screen

HDMI is usually the simplest option when using a laptop or tablet, but AirPlay or compatible screen sharing can also work.

4

Internet access

The device running the Wedding Wall needs internet access so newly uploaded guest photos and videos can appear throughout the celebration.

That is all you need

Guests do not need a second app, another account or a separate Wedding Wall QR code. They continue using the same WedSnap wedding QR code and Guest Hub you have already shared with them.

One upload journey

Guests do not need another QR code or another app

1

Guests scan WedSnap

They use the wedding QR code and normal mobile Guest Hub already prepared for the wedding.

2

Guests upload photos and videos

Photos and videos enter the existing wedding media system rather than a second wall-specific upload service.

3

Eligible media becomes available

The Wall uses photos and videos that the existing WedSnap system considers suitable for display.

4

The screen keeps moving

Newly available photos and videos can appear without somebody repeatedly refreshing the venue display by hand.

Moderation remains meaningful

The Wedding Photo Wall respects the existing media controls

A live screen should not become a second, disconnected moderation system.

When WedSnap media moderation is enabled, the Wedding Photo Wall follows the existing moderation state. Photos and videos that the existing system does not consider approved or displayable are not presented on the Wall.

That keeps the couple's existing media workflow relevant instead of creating another queue to manage during the wedding.

Private collection, shared experience

A live display does not have to make the whole gallery public

The wall is a wedding-day display experience. The couple's private management area and full wedding collection remain separate.

More participation, not more work

Combine the Photo Wall with the Wedding Photo Hunt

The Wedding Photo Hunt can encourage guests to capture particular people, details and reactions, while the Wedding Photo Wall lets the room enjoy eligible photographs being contributed throughout the celebration.

Live Wedding Photo Wall FAQs

What is a live wedding photo wall?

A live wedding photo wall displays eligible guest photos and videos on a venue TV, projector or large screen while the wedding is taking place.

Do guests upload differently for the Wedding Photo Wall?

No. Guests continue using the normal WedSnap QR code and Guest Hub. Eligible photographs can then become available to the Wedding Photo Wall.

Does the screen need to be refreshed manually?

No. The Wedding Photo Wall is designed to refresh its available wedding photographs automatically while it is running.

What happens when media moderation is enabled?

The Wedding Photo Wall respects the existing WedSnap moderation state, so media that is not approved or displayable through the existing system is not shown.

Can the Wedding Photo Wall be shown on a TV or projector?

Yes. If the venue TV has a suitable web browser, you can open the Wedding Wall directly on the TV. You can also run the Wall from a laptop or tablet and connect it to a TV, projector or presentation screen using HDMI, AirPlay or screen sharing. The device running the Wedding Wall will need an internet connection so new eligible guest photos and videos can appear during the celebration.
