Agreement to these terms
These terms apply when a customer purchases, creates or uses a WedSnap wedding gallery.
By purchasing or using the service, the customer agrees to these terms and confirms that the information supplied is accurate.
Guests who upload material must also use the service lawfully and respect the rights and privacy of others.
The WedSnap service
WedSnap provides an online wedding gallery through which invited guests can upload photographs and videos using a link or QR code.
The service may include:
- a private wedding upload page;
- QR-code access for guests;
- photo and video uploads;
- guest names and optional messages;
- a couple’s gallery and download tools;
- account and support emails.
The exact features available are those described on the pricing and feature pages at the time of purchase.
Customer accounts
Customers are responsible for:
- providing a valid email address;
- choosing and protecting a secure password;
- keeping account and wedding details accurate;
- preventing unauthorised access to the account;
- contacting WedSnap promptly if access may be compromised.
A customer must not share account login details with unauthorised people.
Gallery links and QR codes
Customers decide who receives their gallery link or QR code. Anyone with access to that upload route may be able to submit material to the wedding gallery.
Customers should distribute the link responsibly and should not publish it more widely than intended.
WedSnap may restrict access where misuse, automated attacks, unlawful material or a security risk is detected.
Uploaded photographs and videos
The person uploading material must have the right to submit it and must not knowingly upload material that:
- is unlawful, threatening, abusive or deliberately harmful;
- infringes copyright, privacy or other legal rights;
- contains malware or malicious files;
- is unrelated to the wedding or event;
- is intended to disrupt or overload the service.
Customers and guests retain their rights in uploaded photographs and videos.
They grant WedSnap the limited permission needed to receive, store, process, resize, display and deliver that material as part of the gallery service.
Removal and moderation
WedSnap may remove or restrict material that appears unlawful, dangerous, abusive, technically harmful or in breach of these terms.
Where practical, customers should contact WedSnap if material has been uploaded without permission or should be removed from their gallery.
Availability and maintenance
WedSnap aims to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Access may occasionally be limited because of maintenance, hosting problems, internet failures, security incidents, supplier outages or circumstances outside reasonable control.
WedSnap may make reasonable changes to improve security, performance, compatibility or service operation.
Gallery expiry and customer downloads
Gallery access is time limited. The current service is designed to remain accessible until 21 days after the wedding date.
Customers are responsible for downloading and checking all wanted photographs and videos before the gallery expires.
WedSnap should not be treated as a permanent archive, long-term backup service or replacement for the customer’s own storage.
Customers should keep at least two reliable copies of downloaded wedding media.
Price and payment
The standard WedSnap gallery price is the amount displayed on the pricing and checkout pages at the time of purchase.
The current standard price is a one-off payment of £29.99 unless a valid referral offer or other stated discount applies.
Payment is processed through PayPal. A gallery account is only treated as paid when the transaction has been successfully verified.
WedSnap does not operate an automatic recurring subscription for the standard wedding gallery product.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation and refund information is set out on the cancellation and refund policy.
Statutory consumer rights are not excluded or reduced by these terms.
Responsibility and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Subject to applicable law, WedSnap is not responsible for:
- material a guest chooses not to upload;
- poor-quality, incomplete or corrupted source files;
- loss caused by customers failing to download before expiry;
- unauthorised sharing of a gallery link by a customer or guest;
- third-party devices, networks, email providers or PayPal;
- events outside reasonable control.
WedSnap does not replace a professional wedding photographer or videographer and does not guarantee that particular moments will be captured.
Suspension or termination
WedSnap may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary because of:
- non-payment or a reversed payment;
- serious or repeated breach of these terms;
- unlawful or harmful use;
- security threats or attempted unauthorised access;
- requirements imposed by law or a service provider.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where the customer lives.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated to reflect service, security, operational or legal changes.
The version applying to a purchase will normally be the version available when the order was placed, except where a change is required by law or is necessary to protect users and the service.
