WedSnap is purchased online as a one-off wedding gallery service.
This policy explains the standard process for requesting a cancellation or refund. It does not remove or restrict statutory consumer rights.
Cooling-off period
UK consumers purchasing online will generally have a statutory cancellation period for qualifying distance contracts.
The precise position can depend on whether the service has begun, whether the customer expressly requested early performance and how much of the service has already been supplied.
Contact WedSnap as soon as possible if you wish to cancel.
Service beginning before the cancellation period ends
WedSnap may begin creating and making the gallery service available shortly after a successful payment.
Where a customer expressly asks for the service to begin during a statutory cancellation period, the amount refundable may be affected by the service already supplied.
A customer does not lose rights relating to a service that is faulty, misdescribed or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
Cancellation before meaningful use
Where a cancellation request is made promptly and the gallery has not been meaningfully configured, distributed or used, WedSnap will review the request and any applicable statutory cancellation rights.
Include the account email address and PayPal transaction reference when contacting support. Do not send complete card details.
After the gallery has been used
A full discretionary refund will not normally be appropriate once substantial service has been supplied, such as where:
- the gallery has been configured for the wedding;
- the upload link or QR code has been distributed;
- guests have uploaded photographs or videos;
- the couple has viewed or downloaded gallery media;
- the service period has substantially passed.
This does not affect remedies available when the service is faulty or has not been supplied as agreed.
Problems with the service
Contact WedSnap promptly if the gallery, uploads, account access or downloads are not working as described.
WedSnap should normally be given a reasonable opportunity to investigate and correct a technical problem.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, an appropriate remedy may include repair, repeat performance, a price reduction or refund.
Wedding postponement or cancellation
Contact WedSnap if a wedding is postponed or cancelled.
Where technically and operationally possible, WedSnap may be able to update the wedding date rather than cancel the gallery.
Any refund request will be considered according to statutory rights, how much of the service has already been supplied and the circumstances of the request.
How to request cancellation or a refund
Submit the request through the WedSnap contact page.
Please include:
- the email address used for the WedSnap account;
- the wedding or event name;
- the purchase date;
- the PayPal transaction reference;
- a short explanation of the request or technical problem.
Never include a complete payment-card number or account password.
How approved refunds are paid
Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method or PayPal transaction.
Payment-provider processing times are outside WedSnap’s direct control.
