Cookies WedSnap uses

WedSnap currently uses essential session and security storage needed to provide requested website functions.

This may include storage used to:

• keep a customer signed in securely;
• maintain checkout state;
• protect forms against forged submissions;
• remember temporary account or gallery activity;
• support secure administration and private galleries;
• prevent duplicate or unauthorised actions.

Strictly necessary cookies

Essential cookies are required to provide functions requested by the user or to keep the service secure.

Blocking them may prevent login, checkout, account setup, contact forms, uploads or private gallery features from working correctly.

Optional analytics

If you choose Analytics, WedSnap may use first-party measurement technologies to understand how visitors find the website, which public pages they use and whether those visits lead towards checkout or purchase.

This measurement is used to improve WedSnap and understand which marketing activity is useful. Optional analytics is not enabled until you choose to allow it.

Marketing and Meta Pixel

If you choose Marketing, WedSnap may load Meta Pixel and related Meta measurement technologies used for Facebook and Instagram advertising measurement.

Meta technologies are not loaded by WedSnap before Marketing consent is given. If Marketing is refused, WedSnap does not send its Meta advertising events for that browser session.

Your cookie choices

The wedsnap_consent_v1 preference cookie remembers whether you allowed Analytics and Marketing. This preference is stored for up to six months and is treated as essential because it records your privacy choices.

If you allow Analytics, WedSnap sets a wedsnap_analytics_id cookie containing a random anonymous identifier. It is used to connect public page visits, checkout activity and a resulting purchase for measurement purposes. It lasts for up to 30 days and does not contain your name or email address.

You can accept all optional technologies, reject all non-essential technologies, or choose Analytics and Marketing separately. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time.

PayPal

PayPal may use cookies or similar technologies when its payment services are displayed or used.

PayPal controls its own technologies and provides separate information about its privacy and cookie practices.

Managing cookies

Use the Cookie settings control in the WedSnap footer to review or change your optional Analytics and Marketing choices.

Browsers also allow users to view, delete or block cookies. Deleting an active WedSnap session cookie may sign a customer out, and blocking essential cookies may prevent secure features such as checkout or account access from working correctly.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if WedSnap changes the cookies, browser storage, analytics or third-party technologies used by the service.
